AxCellerate emerged from the EUROSTARS NEUROCHIP project, a European research initiative focused on developing an advanced Brain-on-Chip model for neurological drug development.
This origin reflects the collaborative nature of our work: combining scientific research, precision engineering and life science expertise to create a platform designed for the needs of preclinical neuroscience.
The company builds on the combined expertise of FEMTOPRINT SA, a Swiss high-tech company specialized in precision glass microfabrication, and NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute, a German research institute with strong experience in micro-electrodes arrays (MEA) and innovative vitro assays for life sciences.
